PALMARITO BEACH

One week wasn’t enough to experience a magical city like Cartagena de Indias. It is a city to fall in love with. Recently, I was there for 7 nights, and I wasn’t ready to go home. I wanted to continue exploring this gorgeous village with beautiful colonial architecture and excellent beaches. So, I stayed an extra night to visit one of Cartagena’s island, called Palmarito Beach!!! 🙂

From Cartagena it only took 10 minutes to get to Palmarito Beach by boat. The ride was simply awesome seeing the blue skies, the open ocean as I left the city life to be welcomed by more than one hundred palm tress, I was so happy because I adore palm trees, it was like a dream 🙂

I felt so much happiness here. I was able to see the sunset. All night long, we lit fire, sang and danced to some of the happiest songs ever including Sunshine Reggae. And what made this place stand out of the crowd is that it is a cute little island with magical tropical vibes.

Sunshine Reggae is now on repeat on my playlist even after I checked out of the island…here’s a very casual video filled with blissful moments 🙂
